Good day:
I own a CASAE 610-B with a 188,Combine gas engine(as well as a second parts tractor)Case -O-Matic, loader and is a daily user......I like the tractor in all aspects.
There is an auction schedule for the spring of 2016 including a case 630...appears to be a Case-o-Matic and a 188 diesel engine.
Could some one share with me what all if any parts are interchangeable between the 610-B and the 630..
As these young ladies are getting older and scarcer I m considering a bid on this 630.
Thanks
Bob...

Bob,

There are a number of components and parts that interchange between the 600B series and the 630s. Some of the parts may not be identical, but many will "interchange". Case made a significant number of changes in the tractors over the period of time from 1958 to 1963 which spans the time of the 600Bs and 630s, so there are some differences in parts even within the same models. There is also differences with some components for the 630 and 630 COM. The 600B COM parts are mostly interchangeable with COM parts from a 630.

You have already made some adjustments because of the extra length of the 188 block. If you have a wide front, you would have already had to extend the yoke. The wide front yoke is shorter for the 600B because the engine is shorter.

Major items that are interchangeable:

- The wheels, tires and rims
- All Eagle Hitch parts (including top link, and top plate with the rockshaft assembly)
- Fenders
- There are several power steering setups. They could all be made to fit, but the one with the torque motor just below the steering wheel would require a wholesale change of many things at, and under the dash.
- Cluster gauge
- Case-O-Matic components
- Brake and COM peddles
- Weights - Front and Rear
- Dual or Single wheel front end assemblies
- Remote hydraulic valves and manifolds
- Hydraulic levers (600B and early 630 only)
- Hydraulic pump (600B and early 630 only)
- Transmission and rearend including axles

Major items that are not interchangeable:

- All of the tin (except the fenders) are different.
- Fuel tank
- Drawbar
- Battery tray and tray location placement.
- Generator and tach drive
- Side engine rails
- Radiators
- Throttle and COM levers and controls

This is by no means a complete list but maybe a helpful start. - Joe
