Hey all, I'm trying to get my 3rd arms moving and have noticed that the bypass and hold valves under the big flat head bolt are stuck. I have read everywhere that I need to whiddle out a stick and cram it in there to remove them. Well, there not budging. Does any one have any ideas. I'm soaking them in PB right now. I'm working them one at a time and im just about to give up on this thing.
Please give me some ideas, I've already read about all discussions on this thing I can find.

A 7/16" tap will usually grab them enough that you can pull them out with a pair of vise grips. Tap the valves down a little with a hammer and punch(gently), to help free them.

If both of those are stuck don't be surprised if other valves in there are stuck too.

Be careful not to scratch the bores of the valve body, but the inside of the valves themselves aren't critical.

Well. Worked on them off and on pretty much all day and still can't get them out. I'm beginning to think these things aren't supposed to come out.

If you couldn't get them moving in an hour of monkeying around, you need to pull the valve out.

Worst case scenario, If you can't get them once the valve is on a workbench. They can be driven through after you remove the blanking plates and snap rings from under them. If the valve is really this bad you might be better off finding a salvage yard one.

Hey Mr. Martin, well I went ahead and pulled the 3 point off today and found pretty much all the valves stuck. I've freed up a couple, one being the one that has 2 set nuts on top. However, I am wondering how you may get the valves loose that have the nipples on them. Now I didn't take the pump loose from the 3 point arms bcause I didn't wan to mess with adjusting the other Crap. If you have any advise please let me know.
