How much valve job case sc

How much should I pay for a good valve job in todays market on a 52 case SC. I have the new valves and valve guides, It will need all new seats and remove and replace the valve guides

i would say you would be looking at around 350-400.00

In the late 90's I took the head off a 49 SC sent it in for a head job. All new valves, seats, guides, surfaced planed, and checked for cracks. the bill was over $700

Around here about $200-250 at most.

I take the bare head in to the machine shop and have them install guides and seats. Costs $100 to $150. I grind the seats and valves and set the protrusion myself. Takes from an hour to a day depending on how hard they are and how deep I need to cut.
