Project Case (C-O)

With in these past couple of weeks I have been getting to know a hand held impact tool. Takeing out cement in the center of these rims have been quiet a learning factor. I now have all the cement out of these rear centers and what is so interresting is that it looks like the rear wheels where an add on to the rear of this tractor. I wounder if the case C-O only came with meatal tires and that they had to put rubber wheels on later threw the years? Question I have a metal plate in the gas tank that is lose, which right now is lieing on the bottom could it be a shlied for the secound tank in the back? Looks like I am going to have to take the gas tank apart and out that peace bacek up were it goes. enjoy the progress pictures Brent

Brent, that piece lying on the bottom of the tank is a baffle, not uncommon for them to break loose like that. I opened up the tank on my CC and removed it. You can reinstall it or remove it, your choice. It is annoying rattling around in there. Good luck with the project. Allan.

Thank you for telling me. I thought it was that and I am going to have to pull it off of the tractor and bring it ot my metal guy to get it out. PLus I do understand I have a small tank witch I think is my starting tank for this tractor (right) Was this plate fit in the back bye it to keep the othere fuel away from that tank? Thanks again Brent..

Separating the fuel between starting fuel (gas) and running fuel (kerosene) does not make much sense nowadays, at least here in Australia. I have not been able to buy fuel kerosene for at least 40 years.

I removed the metal separating the two compartments when I repaired the fuel tank on my C.
