Hi, I have questions regarding a case 446. I have seen where other people have been able to post there questions and I'm not sure where to post my questions. If any one could tell me that would be appreciative. Thanks elizabeth07

(quoted from post at 21:37:05 09/04/15) This should be the right place.

Ok thank you. My grandfather owns a case 446, with a front blade, chains, and mower deck with mule driver. I don't know the year. It runs great and the blade looks to me like great shape. He has recently passed away and the funeral bill has arrived and we are needing to sell it to help with the bill. I don't have the slightest idea what I should be asking for it. So I was wondering if anyone could give me advice?

(quoted from post at 21:48:57 09/04/15) A lot depends on the condition of the tractor and it's location. Pictures are always
helpful.

OK, I live in Iowa and should be able to upload pics tomorrow. Thank you

Guess I don't know what a mule driver is but a 446 in excellent shape with attachments would be worth $1200 on the top side and down from
there depending on condition.

The drive mule is your pulley's that bring the belt down to your mower, it mounts on the tractor in front

Will help you all we can, as others have mention, pictures will help us help you

There is a 'dedicated' garden tractor forum'. Can get good information.
just scroll down the YT list of forums. (way down)

In good shape and running with deck, chains and a good blade, I'd say anywhere from
$800.00 to $1200.00 .

I think the suggestions are very close, I think you could start out at 1400.00 maybe more, if it runs well,, and it appears you want a quick sale, so you might have to go around 900-1000 if you look above, there is someone already interested, this vintage is sought after. Maybe the others here can chime in

Thank you everyone for your advice. I appreciate it. I have emailed the person above back, and have a few people coming to look at the case tomorrow. I have used this case many times helping my grandfather mow and plow snow and just thought it was a old tractor. But after looking at this website, other research also and everyone's input, I think its a pretty cool tractor and starting to become sad to let it go.
Thanks, elizabeth07
