Some pictures for everyone

The bushings were the exact size as the case ones just slightly longer. We drilled the grease hole into the bushing and drove it in. It was a little tight and we had to sand it some to get it down the shaft.
the bushings were under $2.00 each online if anyone is interested.

Each time I see pictures of your VAC I think that you should make and sell that seat design. Normally, I like original, but that looks good and I am sure more comfortable. Anyway, nice job.

Thank you for the replies.
The seat was a bit of work to put together so it most likely wont ever see mass production. It does make for a better ride though.

I love it all - very partial to the Briggs generator. When I was a young teen I had one of those old Briggs engines. the sound of them and the ease of starting made something in my blood tingle. I have always been partial to the older slow speed engines of all sorts. This is my 1924 cement mixer when I put it back to work on my home a few years ago. Now I have to hire someone to feed it, but it gets use off and on now.
