770 crankshaft

We had a bearing spin on our 770 and the crankshaft is pretty torn up, too far gone to machine. I found an aftermarket crankshaft on ebay. Has anybody had any experience with an aftermarket crankshaft?

I haven't seen any aftermarket cranks for a Case. Make sure it isn't for a 770 DB? I have used the Turk made cranks on DBs. They work, but aren't a exactly drop in.

I have a machinable crank(at standard IIRC, with minor marks) for a 770 with a 3 gear balancer.

That Crank is for a Racine CASE engine, but the 770 & 870 Cranks are not the same, yet the ad lists them all as one. Your Crank is an A58889. Before you install a new Crank, investigate the cause for the damage to the old Crank.

Make sure you measure your crank, and the replacement is the same. Some of those listed come in both small and large journal sizes.

The screen on the oil pump was filthy and plugged and the tractor lost oil pressure.

Certain Brands, that one should stay away from will do that.
