2015 year shots third set

Here are more as the year continued,, crops did well here for the most part,,, we had rain that kept me out of the fields for over 40 days,, weeds got ahead of me,, this year a problem at the local elevator made me hay 95% of my small grains,, Lucky enough I was able to get it all sold but for less than half what I would have made in grain, what grain I did combine did well or at least the Barley did,, 105 bushels per acre is what it averaged a personal Best for me in Barley,, I also changed a few things in my combine settings and got my test weight to 51 lbs a bushel,, also a personal Best! My hay production was good but average for my fields,, 1 1/2 ton per acre on alfalfa grass mix, grain and hay and straw together I rolled up just short of 800 5x5 bales, Break downs this year have been normal I would say,, I have had to buy a few tires again this year and am waiting to see if I can swing a new set of 23.1 x 26's for one 1470 as I have one tire really close to having pups with another not far behind,,, enough of the ramble,, hope all here are having a good year as well,,, I know it has been a trying year for most of us, second pic is flowers I made for the wife from the field

Hi there, Where is your farm or ranch at? It looks pretty flat where you are farming. Good to see all the Case tractors etc., looks like some nice hay and other crops, Harold in Penna.

One of these days I going to have to replace my old 850 NH baler and I want a baler that can make balers a little quicker

Mine it a 1994 VERMEER 505 SI, only thing I would like is a kicker,, other than that this is the best user friendly baler I have ever owned, this is my 5th round baler, it makes 900-1300 lb bales depending on material

Tom, Great pictures and glad to see you back. The flowers are for Jill , birthday or juat to say thank you. Your crops look good I wish I could say the same, 23 inches of rain in June and the root system never took place. Had the 4490 out streching it's tires and it is due for a new set 26.1X 34 [ OUCH] Will call you soon .
