diffferencial brake carrier seal 400 Case

I don't think the leather seal is available for the brake carrier seal, so I bought 2 seals for each side. I want to install the first one in side inverted, and the last seal facing out. Any thoughts going forward . Thanks in advance

I've done that before. Just be sure and "glue" the coil lip tension spring with a bead of silicone to keep it from popping off. I also do that any time I have to tap or drive a seal in, the spring has been known to fly off..........

Thanks for the idea on the silicone. I will make an installation tool also to fit over the shaft. I have a steering shaft seal at the steering box, that I will have to replace too. Radiator has to come out! Late fall project there.
