does anyone know if rebuild kits are available for water pumps anymore or is that a thing of the past.

Seals are available. Nine times out of 10 the shaft is rusted under through the seal causing the leak. If you are able to grind out and build up the shaft with brazing, and then have a lathe to turn it down you can fix them for $20 and a little time. If not get a new one. They are available now.

Install new once will last as long as I and grand kid will have tractor.

I bought all the water pump parts I needed for a DE engine
a few years a go from Case.

ya will try take it out and see what is going on. it just did a great job for me so worth a little time. thanks for the info.
