I am working on a 4694 serial number 16258663 and am in search of a new or used powershift drum part number A168309. Case no longer makes this part new and i cannot find one at any salvage yards. I measured the drum and the over all length is 8 3/4" long, which seems to be the differance in serial number breaks. Thanks for any info

I called all states ag in salem sd and they did not have anything. The problem is it is a late 94 series so 90 series parts will ot work. Thanks

This one looks pretty chewed up

The planetary gears are junk but I have reused ring gear drums that look like that. Take a small punch and knock out all the small chips of metal wedged down in the valley between the teeth. Used a small hammer and carefully tap down any high spots on the teeth. After that take the drum to a shop that has a bead blaster and have them go over the teeth and that helps smooth out the rough spots. That is what I have done to a half dozen or so and they have all worked out well. I have only replaced a couple drums in 40 years. Well that's my two cents worth, Rod.

I went to Messicks Parts Web Page & The Part No You have Does Not Come up for a 4490 or 4690 =are you Sure you have the Right part no. ???
