Hydraulic Sealant

Asked this elsewhere too. What are your opinions on using thread sealant in this application. I have new CASE washers. I don't want to take on and off a lot of times trying to stop
this pesky leak. Thanks for your help

New Washers & Thread Sealant will seal the Threads, but are you sure that is where the leak is? Usually the swivels start to leak.

It's that Ba$tard thread Case used. I tried to have some made by a national manufacturer of fittings but they told me they could not match the thread. We still stock them, but we get them from CASE.

These HAVE to be one of Cases poorest ideas. Last time I priced the swivels, they were close to 100 bucks. Bought a complete tractor for less, robbed the fittings then sold the tractor again, and still made money.

If the leak is at the threads the new sealing washers should take care of the leak. Thread sealant is meant for the tapered thread used on pipe fittings. Rod.
