1370 oil pan

Finally have some time to work on that open station 1370. Got heads off, found a blown gasket, so that is my source of radiator gas. has a had a replacement head, with paintmarker on it on that cylinder.

Bores look like like they have the same hours as the tach shows. Think I might as well put a sleeve kit in while it is apart.

Brings up this question??? DO you really have to pull the axle to get the oil pan off? Is there a trick I am missing?

Also, going to need a turbo. The one on it has braze holding the hot side together. I think the same mechanic that did that put on the head. What is the best source for a turbo?

Yes Rick you have to take the front axle off but it is not a bad job and then you have nothing in your way making the rest of the job easier. The reman turbo's are available trough many suppliers with very similar pricing and warranty's. A+I even offer a new China built look alike that I have tried and so for they are still going. Turbo's for the most part are very trouble free if operated and serviced properly. Rod.
