Here is my old farm shop,

I for some reason like old shop pictures, here is a picture I took a while back with things being unpacked from a winter sleep. This shop I just use in the summer at the farm, but sure nice to have.

Guess you can see there is a little bit of everything, in fact the grey shelf on the right side was one of the first parts bin of my Dad's when he first started out with J.I. Case in 1958

A shed full of neat Case stuff, it doesn't get any better. I remember, as a kid, not having any kind of shed to work in. Fixing manure spreader apron chains while laying in the snow was always great fun. LOL Don
 
I wonder if the parts shelves were a Case design because they look just like the one's at my Dad"s dealership. Both Dad and Grampa are gone now so I can't askthem. Got the Case contract in the 30's. Still running today at the same location after they moved off the farm but Case is gone and now we have the big orange sign up. Some day I am going to make a parts showroom like they had and I have seen in the Case books.

I think you may be correct in thinking that the shelve were a CASE design. We had very similar gray shelving and when they closed the Syracuse branch, dad bought a lot of gray gasket drawers and shelving that they had there.

Interesting, because they are very similar to the shelving we had. Mom & Dad are long gone, so I have no one to ask.
 
Now, that looks like a place I could spend the afternoon in and watch the cars go by. I dibbs the garden tractor seat! slim
 
Fred, my Dad had someone build them that did carpentry, but they could have been built to a model Case head.

I do know I would like to see pictures if you decide to do that.
 
You right Don, I saw many hard working farmers out in the cold, fixing things, and never complaining, think you have the same qualities I sense.
