1953 Case SC Weights

I recently acquired a 1953 Case SC. It has the weight under the radiator, and also has two other front end weights. From what I've found, the weight under the radiator is standard, but the other front-end weights are not, and it sounds like they are difficult to find. If anyone can give me any insight I would appreciate it.

could you post a picture. I believe I've seen pictures of the wrap around weights on the 300 series, but not an SC. gobble

on the wrap a rounds goose neck weights....make a diff it it has 15 or 16 inch wheels....

Anyone know how much they weigh and/or their value??

Those front weights are uncommon. They were introduced to help the eagle hitch SC tractors (1952-1954) handle the heavy eagle hitch disks when running down the road. I have a 1954 SC with AWF and the oversize 16" heavy front wheels, and a 9 ft MF three-point hitch disk. When I raise the disk, the front end is so light that I can lift it by hand. It only has about 200-300 lbs on the front wheels when sitting still. When running down the road, the front end is lighter and I can only steer with the brakes. If you are near Michigan and are interested in selling the weights, I am in need of a set. Also, I will supply the cultivator clamp castings that fit the front bolster in place of the weights. Just contact me.
