Progress on the 300 Painting Part I

Got most of the big items painted on the 300. I will be sanding and hanging the smaller pieces to get painted in the near future. Then on to the Desert Sunset parts.
This will have 1 set of remotes with up/down pressure as well as a single port for 1 way cylinders. (don't really have a use for the one-way but it was on the tractor when I got it so I kept it.) I also have the electronic ignition to put in it and the gauge cluster is in the process of being restored.
This 300 will also have a set of case 16" front wheel weights and 2 sets of F&H rear wheel weights mounted when it is finished.

BECAREFUL .... looks like the back of the tractor is held up by 2 chucks of wood on each side ...

The original factory control valves were stack mounted on the pump plate bolted to the torque tube.

The top control valve was usually factory setup for double acting with two hoses from the interlock block on the left side of the tractor. Generally used for remotes or any DA cylinders.

The lower control valve was usually factory setup for single acting with one hose/tube on the forward port in the interlock block on the right side of the tractor to a SA cylinder like on the Eagle hitch.

The upper and lower control valves are identical, the upper control valve is simply stacked upside down relative to the lower control valve.

Whether the control valve is used for DA or SA is the function of the interlock. If you want the SA control valve to function DA simply insert a 1/4" recessed head pipe plug (npt) in the center port.
