HYDROVAC SYSTEM on a Case W7 Loader

Do any of you Case guys know about this Hydrovac system on my Case Payloader?? It has a regular master cylinder and then this other system. It is run by a pump run by a belt off the engine pulleys and has a supply tank.
Is it a dual safety system or does the tractor need both systems????????/

I have a W7D with that vacumm assisted system.there is a vacumm pump opposite the alternator that runs non-stop. the main master cylinder is bolted to the vacuum tank, hence the description "this system sucks".if your brakes are new and adjusted correctly you MIGHT be able to get by without the vacuum system on flat ground no load............good luck with that! I have the shop book around here somewhere........new never used! My brakes (other than parking band) have not worked in the 25+ years i've owned it and have plenty of OMG near misses! Do you have specific questions? chuck.
