Put down the wrenches, pick-up the fishing pole

A vacation with the kids and grand children, first one in 12 years. Had a great time in northern Wisc. I had not gone fishing in over 20 years. That is me baiting a hook for one of the grand kids. We caught a lot of fish and left most go for the next time. A week of fishing, eating and a few brews was great. Even went on some zip lines through the forest canopy, one more thing to scratch off the bucket list. Eagles and loons were a common sight. Even seen one of those ghostly albino white tail deer. Rod.

Great pictures! I could never find a rod and reel to fit my hands....stuff didn't seem to happen fast enough.
Maybe now that I am older I should try again. Been meaning to ask, how did the 60" mower deck work out?? If it is like mine it is getting a lot of use this summer.

Steve I have been meaning to post a pic of the 60 in deck in action. It works great and taller grass flows though better than the 44 in we have. Rod.

Rod, glad you did this, I know they will never forget this trip with you. Hope you catch some fish and have a great fish fry, its some pretty country there in Northern Wisc.

Beautiful scenery there Rod. Hope everyone had a good time. Can't quite see the "jig" your tying, just wondering if you had any flambeau red, desert tan, power white colored lures along?? You just never know what them fish are after some days. LOL
