New shoes, but just as ugly!

Put some new shoes on elmer before the bi-county cruise. Everyone says he's still ugly, but that's just jealousy talking I'm sure.

Ugly is not a very nice word to use in these politically correct times. Aesthetically not as pleasing to the eye. May be a better description. Or maybe Dressed for work not for the prom. Don't you know you could hurt that tractors feelings calling it ugly, maybe scar it for life. All tractors are beautiful, some just more beautiful than others.lol I like it. gobble
 
Well, I sure like the progress, getting new tires is a huge part of the restoring journey.

You are correct this one came with the 38" spin out rims with the really nice cast centers. Unfortunatly it had sit full of calcium for thirty years, not only were the rims destroyed, even a couple of the power adjust bars were ate up. I acquired the 9-bolt hubs and rims for less than the cost of 1 new rim. I consider it a temporary fix though, and will keep my eye out for a good set of rims to put it back original.
 
We know that mothers love their ugly children. I suggest that every night you kiss it good night and say to it "mommy loves you". Of course, you might have to do the Bruce Jenner thing. LOL
