Case 530 Carb problem

Gas was leaking thru screen on bottom of carb, so took intake boot off and carb off. Some gunk in the bottom of float bowl but not too bad but clean it out. Float seems to move freely. Put it back together turn gas on and without intake boot on gas starts pouring out intake. Tried bending floats down a little thinking maybe they weren't able to go high enough to seal off when bowl is full, that didn't help. Any ideas?

Looks like it's the valve seat. Any idea where I can order one thru and p/n? By my s/n looks like my tractor is 1967, 541 version.

The original carburetor would have been a Zenith #13106. The "VALVE & SEAT - fuel (matched)" part number is A41086, and is still available from Case. While you have it apart, you might consider getting and installing a full rebuild kit. The later will likely cost less than just the valve and seat kit from case.... - Joe

probably all she needs really is a lot of exercise..all mine act up like that , but to me there is no need to rebuild all the carbs .they will act up again if they sit too l ong ,. best thing I do is run the carb dry when shutting down for a few weeks .. . to keep a gasser in good tune ,, it helps a bunch if they see enuf action in one week to use 5 gallon of gas ..when I let mine set for serveral monthes or yrs ,, the carburetor is always cranky even when rebuilt ,. just the nature of the beast , and the real reason I prefer to use diesels over gassers when I have serious work to get done ,,. . if they have been setting serveral monthes or more I usually and maybe seafoam if it just don't wanna run smooth ,,,. put a qt of atf with 5 gallon of gas and some heet gas treatment,..and some lucas gas treatment , run it awhile ,, nursing the choke and keep spray carb cleaner handy ,.. in one hard day most are running normal

Kit came in yesterday, just replaced the valve and seat, runs great now, no leaks. My battery wasn't charging and figured alternator/generator was bad. While waiting for parts found fan belt in pretty rough shape so replaced that and now the gen light isn't coming on, so took care of that also. Good day for once!
