630 Change From Wide to Narrow Front

Got a gas 630 COM that has had a loader on for way too much of its life. Front axle and bolster are torn up pretty bad, and I am not too crazy about dumping a lot of $ into fixing it.
Assuming I can find parts, what would be involved to change this over to a NF configuration?

Changing over to a narrow front is a very easy task. Just remove the current wide front, including the steering arm bolted to the steering bolster. The narrow front spindle will bolt up to the steering bolster with 4 bolts (see picture below).

The attach point at the aft point of the yolk of your old wide front assembly will need to remain in place. That bracket/attach point is part of the sealing mechanism for the COM bell housing. Tractors shipped from the factory with a narrow front had blank (no attach point/pivot for the yoke), but that may be hard to find....

The spindle for the narrow front is the same spindle used from the 302/312/351/302B/312B/511B/611B and the 630-930 series so it should be easy to find. You can use your existing hubs, rims and tires.

The is a knock-out in the hood cap, and the parts manual shows a pre-cleaner. The one in the previous picture is not correct, but the one in the picture below is.

I assume it was a factory option, and/or a dealer installed option.

There is a narrow front on photo ads on this site for sale in Indiana that will fit.If you have pressed steel wheels just take the cast wheels off and use your hubs and rims.

Thanks guys. Use this for haying, and do a lot of small patches, so the NF should help maneuverability some too.
Had a hunch that would bolt up, but wasn't sure.
My WF has very nicely made spindle housings, but whoever made them didn't bore them for bushings or grease zerks, and they are shot! Front tube wishbone has been welded umpteen times, and it's just time to start over!
Wish mine looked that nice...mine is all orange, even the tinwork.

Are the two 630's in the pictures Racine built with the Racine type power steering. They have the cover on the front casting why i'm asking.

Good catch....The 630 in the pictures is a 1963 model with the late power steering unit in the front nose casting.
