I was born in 1950 and we got a new Case 800 in 59, run it a lot growing up plowing, disking, baling, picking corn,so today I borrowed my sons 800 to ted some hay, got to figuring and it had been 45 plus years since I had been on one, sure brought back a lot of memories, ole tractor ran good and caseamatic worked like a charm, these are amazing tractors

I know the feeling, my "1031" my dad sold in 1966 new, he traded it back in 1971, we kept the tractor on the farm till I started selling machinery and sold it. It had 5000 hrs on it in 1975 and 3 customers had it after that, the guy I bought it from told me he thought it had 18,000 hrs on it.

I enjoy every day I get to run her, and see signs of where I had a tractor radio, and other small things. Yes it will stay with me.

Great post

nuthin better than getting back what you wish you had kept ,.., my son bought my old 930 ck back ,,. it was no worse wear,,. last month ,,. I discovered at a local consignment auction , the nh 68 baler Dad bought new .I actually remember when it arrived at the farm , I mite had been 3-4 yrs old.. my brother and I recognized serveral battle scars we recall it had... and again it was no worse for wear , even though Dad sold the baler back in the mid 80s..i jumped in at 500 bux , hoping the faded paint would deter others ,,.. it was gonna cost me 1250 for being sentimental , and I reluctantly passed ... that old baler inspired a entire neighborhood about haying farming , and work as teenagers

Good to hear that time on the 800 brought back pleasant memories for you. That must be why we love old Case tractors so much. Don
