Opened up the transmission to get ready to replace the speedometer cable. The gears look good. There are only a few nicks and chips but It should still run good.

Its the "gasket" that was around the speedometer cable. Surprisingly it survived the fire... and then the pressure washer.

Where did you get the cable? The one on my 310 went south last fall. It was a cheapie that I had to swage one end on. I want one that is complete custom fit. They all seem to be too short for a proper radius or way to long.

John, I have checked your site before. All I see is the tach cable. Is it the same as the speedo cable, seems it would be a little short for the 180 routing? I don't want that universal cable.

You're right about cross-ref on belts. Close might not be good enough. You have to do some measuring and match up to their info page on the belt.
