This combine belongs to our local historical village. we would like to get it back to working condition to use in a demonstration plot. Wondering if we can get or make enough parts to make it work? What can you tell us about this combine?

That looks like it could be brought back to life. And being pto drive you don't have a motor to worry about. Used parts are around because that same basic design was used for many years and they were quite popular in some areas. That must be an early model tho being galvanized, I've only seen one other. I have a model 77 that is very simmilar, but newer. That looks like a really fun project and I'll look forward to watching it progress.

Agree with the others here, it has potenial.

Here is my 1950 "A6" inside waiting for me!

Good luck on your project, the "A" series was one of Case's finest.

My Dad had several of the A series Case combines. He liked how simple they were and how easy they were to work on compared to other combines. You will need to find some canvases for the header, or make them yourself. Keep us informed. I wish I had one of his combines stored inside.
