Need help identifying tractor

Can anyone tell me what model this is. Friend asking. I can not find label plate or serial number anywhere on tractor. Thank You!

Were there different series. I don't have serial number and need to order parts for him.

Looks like my 400 gas. The data plate is on the dash, ahead of your right knee., or above the brake pedals.

It is a 400 gas stander and should have eagle hitch.

The serial number is also on the engine bell housing. (left side) See picture.... You may need to remove 50 years of paint

Here are some more pictures of the tractor. Thank you all for helping. I'll go with the model 400 and start researching parts for him.

Nice looking 400. You can save your self a lot of time by looking up parts on the CaseIH website. Jensales also has reprints of the parts book and operators manual.

It's a 400, not a 400B. AKA the "big" 400 or the "round nose" 400. Be sure to make that distinction when buying parts because they are very different tractors.

Looks to me like you have a 410 (400 Spark Ignition, Standard configuration), made between 1955 and 1957.
