John and Rod, Here in Ohio we have had over 15 inches of rain so far in June. Soybeans and corn are either drowned out or yellow. They said Saturday 1 to 2 inches of rain coming. Jerry

Up here in Purdue country we are in for more of the same weather RAIN AND MORE RAIN. Most our crops are in the same yellow lookin bad condition. A guy I know has already lost over 2000 acres to the Wabash river being way out of her banks.

You get anything planted yet?? I'd like to swap weather with you. Cambodia is supposed to get the monsoons and it looks to me like you got them. We are too dry!

Ted: Only got 47A of corn in, & it is a total disaster. Only was able to get 30A of beans in this week, & we're looking @ 1" to 2" of rain this weekend. In my 42 years of farming, I've never seen anything like it. The old timers always said: "A dry year will scare you to death, but a wet year will kill you".

Well, I'd like to have your rain! We've been one day from disaster all season long with our rice. It is two months old and hasn't had flood cover yet, but tough as that may be, most farmers here have nothing. May God bless with with a time to plant and a long, warm summer and fall season!
