Eagle Hitch Plow Availability

I "think" I have one. It is set up to pull behind my big 400. I couldn't get it to plow right, so I gave up on it.
Later opinions were that the points were wore enough that it wouldn't pull itself in. I could force it in with down pressure, but didn't think that should be necessary. Located in Clark County, Wisconsin. I could send pics.

I have such an animal in my swap pile. I used it behind my SC and it was to small, I now use a 2/16 that fits the tractor better. I've a neighbor with a 3/14 he used to use on his DC, I think it's for sale. My 400 in our loamy soil easily pulls a 3/16 G series Case trailer plow, so I picked up a 4/16 G but haven't used it yet. I think the 2/14 is more a V series than the Racine 400.........I'm in Central MN, email open.

I have this in Central Iowa

I'll probably just sit tight with the 2-16 Ford plow I have now. Sweet, high clearance plow, but I'd just like to have a Case plow. We have heavy soil up here. 2-16s is plenty for a good running DC.

I am located in central Il near Peoria. I paid $500 for this fully restored BER plow 15 years ago but never used it because I had another BER plow to use. It is a 14 inch. It needs a new home. Will take $500 OBO. Would throw in a wheel weight for your DC land wheel.

My experience with DCs with big pistons, land wheel weighted, and 5505 head is 2nd gear will pull a 3-14 up hill in many tough soils at least 6 inches deep. Might need a front weight also.
