Here are some pictures from Northern Calif. The young lady is my granddaughter. The hay cutting is in our meadow a heavy crop this year. The last picture is PJ Helicopters out of Red Bluff Ca. setting poles near our ranch this morning. Steve

Really some nice pictures Steve, but what is that "green" thing pulling the baler. LOL !! Looks like the meadow had a good yield, about how many ton do you think it made.? Is your area really dry or are you getting enough rain to keep things green.? Cute Granddaughter ! Here in NW Ohio, we've had enough rain for now, but crops look good so far.

Mike

I agree those are some really some nice pictures. Clearly and different kind of country than where I live.

Hello Mike. The meadow hay that was cut in the pictures will go 2.5 tons. Yes we are very dry. We are in the 4th year of drought. The north end of the state had some timely rain last winter just not enough. Central & south end are very very dry. Our meadow sits on a 40 acre pond. There is standing water in places 5 ft. away dry as a bone. Steve

I wish I could send you some rain. In mid-north Indiana we had 7" of rain last week. The Wabash river took out thousands acres of corn and soybeans last week. One friend of my sons lost 600 acres of the best looking corn he had ever raised. The river has been at flood stage for a week or more. Another neighbor lost 1300 acres corn to the river. The crop insurance guys are super busy........... Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...............Kenny :?
