Any idea on Minkota value?

I got to wondering, without having to play phone tag, anybody know what minkota was for sale for, dollars wise (and what it included)? Then the next question, is it worth what they are asking? I know there is a diminishing demand, reproductions are cheaper etc etc etc, but wonder if it was still possibly a break even proposition. Thanks.

The problem is volume. The rubber plant only lets you show up with your molds if you got about $$$$$ worth of work for their injection machines. If the guy that owns the injector machine can't bang out a group of 100,200,300 steering wheels with your molds, you are wasting his time.

That old guy started that steering wheel adventure when the molding industry was just getting rolling in SD. Little jobs like that got peoples attention 25 yrs ago. Now if it aint a project that uses 1000 lbs of material you are gonna get laughed out the door.

The molds aint worth nothing without a way to fill them.

Any idea on Minkota value?
