Some of the first year 2090's had hoods that did not tip up. Instead they slid forward enough to service air cleaner. Do not remember the radiator cap access hole but they almost had to have them. That dumb hood design was not used long and they put the common tip-up one on like all the other models used. They did that on the 2090's to cut cost a few dollars. Those sliders could be converted to the tip-up. They also used a cheaper ring and pinion set-up and trans bearings in the early ones. Just to save a few bucks, dumb. There too, after a while they used the better stuff in them like they had been using in the 2290's. Rod.
