Rare part for a VAC?

I'm trying to find an hydraulic part for my 1953 VAC. I need the two levers with the handle that are located to the right of the steering wheel and connect to the
remote valve found next to the belt pulley. I've included a picture of the part from an unknown tractor I found on the internet. Does someone here have any ideas
as to where else I could search for this part?

I don't have a source for the original part, however, you could fabricate up a working replacement fairly easily I would think. Get some threaded rod of, grind off the threads of one end for a inch or so, heat and bend 90 degrees, drill for retaining key/pin. Purchase a jaw type turnbuckle of same threaded size as rod to screw into and fasten jaw end like in the picture.

If you're doing a restore and need the original part, you may give Don Livingston a try at Rusty Acres.

I would get some steel rod of the correct diameter. The ends are carried by most dealers and some hardware stores. Bend one end and drill for a cotter pin. Thread the other end with a die. Typically the end fitting has SAE threads. Good luck and show us a picture of your repair.

mcmaster Carr should have the parts to make them, the yokes look like the same on the brake actuators if they are the same you should be able to thread some rod and bend the other end
