We have a few acres that are dry enough to cultivate. Sure hope the rains hold off for a few days so I can get through some of the taller corn. Rod.

I got 47A that has been in for 3-1/2 weeks. Lost count, but must have had 10" rain on it so far. All germinated, only shows on the knolls though. If & when it dries up, I will work up & plant to beans, I hope.

Rod,you must have missed the 1.5inches we received yesterday morning. The corn is really growing fast as it should. Do you have any hills? Is your 870 a powershift?

Rod,

That sure is some beautiful ground you have there in MN! Wish we had some of that instead of sand and gravel. Should be in the quarry business LOL Don

Hey john
I know ten inches is a lot but try
22 inches in the last 36 days
We aren't done planting and more rain on the way

That's a lot for sure! I was so busy wallering in my sorrows that I neglected to congratulate Rod on his corn & rig.

Darrel, we got .10 rain here at home and where most of our farmland is we did get 1.5in. We have plenty of hills but not to high and the 870 is a PShift. I cultivate in 3-3 at 1200 rpm's. Can shift down for the ends, I like it.

I can remember as a little guy(9-10) cultivating with the 800 and a 6 row, doing every other 6 as dad was going ahead with the 930. 6th gear direct drive at an idle!! I was black after a good long day in the muck!!!

I have to admire the pic also. Nice tractor and cultivator and good ground. But I hate to tell the feller from Illinois that this Bill thing put about 3 inch of rain on us just today and it is headed in his direction. I think this will take care of the dust problem.
