My son just traded for a Case 430. Did a little research and found out the 430 is a diesel, but looking at the tractor that didn't seem right, checked the serial number plate and it says 440-L.
So this is a 430, but with a gas engine making it a 440, is that correct? Why would the decal say "430" when it's really a 440? is this just an oddity or was there a method to this madness? Thanks.
