2390 engine stalling. Pilot spools/clutch?

My 2390 started acting up today. Pressing the clutch down causes the engine to instantly stall. We did a few tests to the tractor and here's what we came up with:

Powershift in 1, clutch out: engine runs but is under a heavy load

Powershift in 1, clutch halfway down: engine runs normally

Powershift in 1, clutch down: engine instantly stalls

Powershift in R, clutch in any postion: engine instantly stalls

Any ideas of where to start looking here? Thanks in advance, everyone.

Sounds like the pilot spools are stuck, take the valve off take it apart and get the spools freed up before you have to do a whole powershift.

Sounds like the C-3 pilot spool is stuck, but as Jeremy said I would check them all and install new hyd filters for sure. Rod.
