Need help with Case 930 LP

Will not stay running, was parked in 1996 friend said it might be vaporizer flooding it
I can hear the gas coming in from the air breather
Any help would be great.

Lee, Are you using lp from the tractor tank or a lp cylinder? I was getting a 49DC going, I replaced the vaporizer/regulator and was temporarily plumbed into a 20lb LP tank. the inner check valve on the tank would close on me. I now have lp in the tractor tank and it stays running, even drove it around. Can you choke it to keep it running? Maybe your getting too much air. The regulator/vaporizer works off the engine vaccum, more vaccum =more fuel. Maybe open up the air intake just to see if air cleaner is restricting air. Could be the regulator is not reacting the way it should. I got my regulator from Century Fuel products. Let us know how things turn out. gobble
