Why, Oh Why did they do that?

My husband and I take trips to see some of his family in Wisconsin and I always get to see this Case proudly working away. This is on our way past Stanley, WI on 29. Well yesterday on our way home I was disappointed to see that they painted it, RED!!

Well LAW, I guess it is up to you to stop at the city office of Stanley, Wis. and express your concerns.
As a responsible Case person, it is up to you to see that the DC is once again painted Flambeau..

I could mail a protest letter and if we take our fall trip see if they changed the color!! I'm thinking they will not, but might be worth a shot!

Pumping oil....like you see in Texas and Oklahoma, but using the DC as the power.
Anyway it looks like a oil well, may pump something else.
Maybe someone from Wisconsin can shed some light on the subject.

Sign says River Country Co-op...not sure if it actually pumps anything or just advertising! It is definitely an oil pump!!

I live 15 miles to the west of their an it always use to be the correct color unto last fall I noticed that it got painted an yep it sure is the wrong color. That tractor has been their for many years the rig all moved like its pumping oil but its just for show. It formerly was the Stanley gas an oil co. but two years ago river country co-op took them over.

Why, Oh Why did they do that?
