I need Help!

Ok here goes. New to the site so bare with me. My father in-law was given a Case tractor about 10 years ago and used it for a summer. It's been sitting ever since. My wife and I have just decided to buy a small hobby farm like my wife and I grew up on, so we can teach our 5 children about the lifestyle, responsibility, passion and goals. So we decided a tractor is in need. About it: says Case made in Racine Wisconsin on engine cover. 5 speed. Gas motor. I got it to turn over after some wiring work. Now here is what I need.... what is it?model #? What should I do next? Can I just start it after I flush old fuel and oil? Local farmers are saying to drain oil and fill with diesel and just crank it offer a few times a day for a week than drain and wala. .. rebuild? I also cannot get it into any gear. Shifter will barely move... ok if you need more info ask.
Can anyone help me? Pictures to follow

To me, it looks like a 310B hoe and loader w/the backhoe not attached. The bracketry under the trans heading toward to rear is identical
to mine. A ID tag should be riveted to cowl, on the left side of the tractor, right before the curve that takes you around to the dash,
if that makes any sense. It would not be a 5 speed. Take a pic or two of the rear of the tractor, and also over the seat showing the
trans cover and dash. That will help with ID. My 310 is a 1959 unit and that gives you an approximate year. I would NOT flush with
anything, particularly diesel as it is very corrosive to babbit and bronze. If it's got crud in it, it's best to let it lie. Kerosine
would be a better option. Or, if you get it running, 10W oil it to warm up and draining is a thought too. You'll soon find lot's of
opinions, some perhaps better than others, go with those you respect that have successful mechancial ability. It's the old Ford or Chevy
question, red or silver, or whatever. Run ideas thru your filter system and go with them. NEVER be afraid to ask, there is no stupid or
inane question. If you don't understand it, find out. Pick up owners and service literature as soon as you can verify the model. It is
all available, swap meets, ebay, advertise for it on sites like this. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. And also thank you for your service oldproudvet. It says 5 speed on shifter. It has two other shifters also. One says on Trans case L & D and the left tall one says D & R. I also do not see any hydraulics going to the rear of the tractor. Here is some pics I have from yesterday. All I have for now. It's pouring here again so I can get a few more in a couple days. Other than the case name Tag there is no plate on the hood. G1222 is on top Trans plate and G1096 is on side of trans.

Thanks for your kind words Adam. Looking @ your dash, you do not have a 300 series, but a 30 series, ie 330,530 etc mid sixties vintage.
Someone familiar with that series will chime in, for sure. I would think you've just a custom shift knob, as Case did not offer a 5 spd
(at least in my world) You have what's called a shuttle transmission with a range selector, giving you 8 fwd speeds. The shuttle lever
on the left is a fwd rev selector, making it extremely handy for loader work. The range selector, on the right is short and there will be
a cast H and L for the high or low range. The gear shift pattern would be located on the trans cover surrounding the shift lever, and
will have 1 2 3 4 & R cast in raised letters. I believe you have a straight geared transmission and not a Case-o-matic, but I've never
owned own of those................Your ID tag is missing, it would be behind the shuttle shifter on the side pic that you sent. I'm sure
others, more knowledgeable then me on this series, will pop on

It is a 1958 210b with the shuttle shift. That is assuming everything is close to original. The 1959 models had the radiator fill through the hood and the steering wheel had one wide spoke. There will not be a reverse on the regular gear shift. I actually have the same tractor sitting in my shop now. Lee

Good deal. Yes this one you have to remove the hood to fill radiator. OK so it's been sitting for 10 years. It's got a bent rear rim and tires are shot. Can i get rims to fit it from todays age? What's my next step? It cranks over. I need to drain all fluids and refill before anything correct? How well of a machine is it? Power?

Should not have to remove the hood. The little door over the radiator is suppose to pop out to access the radiator cap. It would have originally had spring clips to hold it in place. On mine after the clips broke someone mounted it with hinges. I would at least loosen the drain plugs to check for water. If the shifter does not want to move sounds like you probably already have water in the transmission. It and the rear end share the same fluid. The shuttle shift and high low range are in the hydraulic reservoir. Lee

Ok both the left stick and right stick move freely. As well as the brake pedals and clutch. Gas pedal is ok but hand throttle is super tight. I have the rear end blocked up and the wheels rotate freely. I can move the center shifter front to rear a little. But not side to side... I figured I would drain coolent, fuel tank, oil, trans. What else should I do? It hasn't been run in 10 years. But does crank over.
