I have a 1963 chain drive 930 CK 6 speed kind of feel dumb but have looked all over the rear end, but where in the world are the oil full level checks for the rear end and the hyd system, I found the drain and fill holes easy enough but drawing a blank on the full level check holes. Thanks for any help

Not sure, but you probably have a 3/8" plug somewhere about half way up on the rear end that is your full level check.Try looking on the rear or l or r side of rear end housing. Dick

I posted some scans from my owner's manual last year for another fellow - the pictures show the oil level plugs for the hydraulics and rear end:

The '63 CK will have dipsticks for both the rear end and the hydraulics. the hydraulic one is located on the left side of the valve housing ( a 1" hex head cap bolt). the rear end dipstick is beneath a cover on the floor boards, ( just behind where your left foot would rest.

Thanks for both of your help the hyd cap has the short dip stick, but the trans fill hole has nothing, but I found the trans check plug buried in grease just ahead of the hyd filter as was shown in the picture in the manual for an early 930. Once again thanks because I was having no luck on the trans check.
