Got an oportunity to put my dc to work today. Either those spreaders are getting bigger or my dc is shrinking. Lol. This is my bean field this year, but it's still too wet to plant, and more rain tomorrow so be a while before I get to planting. Had a bear sow and her cubs come by for a visit while I was working this field. Didn't bother me on the 970 or 2394, I'm glad she stayed out of the field at least while I was on the dc tho. She kept circling the field as I worked. I wasn't able to catch her in a pic tho.

when we were kids jon a DC wsas a BIG tractor ...my dc has 7800 lbs behind it on a spreader , them ol gents will march with a load

Will you be doing more tillage before planting? It looks awfully rough to be planting beans into this.

It was sod and I just hit it once with the disc before I spread the fertilizer. I will go over it at least a couple more trips to break up those clumps and smooth it some.

Jon, Great picture,I just finished my corn and soybeans. Great looking tractor, my next trator will be a 611B then a DC like yours . Have safe planting and stop by again if you are in the nieghborhood. Jerry from Ohio
