Crushing brought back memories

Just finished soybeans and we were short a tractor so I pulled the 970 Black Knight out of the shed and put my daughter to work. As I rode with her it brought back tons of memories. I remember sitting behind my Dad in the cab of a lot of different 70 series Case tractors, tucked in just enjoying the ride. Hitting my head on the rear window when Dad would use the powershift. The sound of a Case diesel and the crackle of the AM radio. I had a big smile every time I could ride along. My Dad is now gone. He was an old school Case dealer who took good care of customers and loved the relationships he made along the way.
I like to think that every time he sold a Case tractor he made them as happy as he made me.

Your dad made us happy when a new Case was delivered. And that happened often! Maybe that explains our passion for Cases! Nice pics, hope you didn't get the Black Knight too dusty crushing!
