Show your ongoing combine restorations

Many times we see some great ongoing restorations of tractors or some other Case equipment, but rarely I see anything on combines. If you have any pics of a restore or ongoing, post them if you can.

I really don't have a ongoing or anything done, but have a project I plan too, its my old "A6" that sits in the shed waiting for its day.
What do you have waiting?

Nice ole A-6 Dan, I can wait to hear that Wisconsin growling again as the machine is doing its threshing job. I do not no any stats, but at one time those A-6's had to be the most popular combine in the USA, darn near every farmer around here had one. Rod.

I restored one combine a long time ago. After that I made up my mind to only buy combines that were shedded and run. I have a Case No 12 that I would love to see restored but it ain't going to happen. Just not near enough time and patience to tackle it. It was going to get scrapped so I figured I would at least take it home so I can just look at it. Then let the next guy after me can restore it.

Hey Dan,
Here's my 120 that isn't "currently" being worked on but is in line to get going.
It needs some engine work that I am not capable of.
I had some thoughts to seeing if I couldn't get it going for Case's 175th anniversary celebrations.

I also have this model C that needs very little mechanically other than I'd like to put a straight cut reel back on it.
Every working part is loose and turns freely. The motor IS stuck though. And I have yet to investigate if its the same Waukeshaw motor Case used in the model R tractor. If so, then I don't think it would be too tough to get some live power back in it.

Not a restoration, but some new belts and steel repair and threshes as good as new.
Really smooth running machine. Course we have all the 1660 and 1665 machines too.

Dan, I have a whole thread over on my case power and equipment page on the ongoing rebuild of my 660. Strawboss I still have that radiator here for your 120 if your still interested in it.

Please! Yes! My email is open. Shoot me some info on price, location, cell number, etc.
I had your info at one time but it got away from me.
Dang, my son was driving home from Michigan this week but just recently decided to fly.
If your willing and patient, I'll figure out a way to get it here.
Thanks.

A pic of my 77 pull type behind my 400d I bought a few years ago and my 1160 I bought a couplebyears back. I used both of them after a fair amount 9f work to get them running. The 77 is in nice shape and with a jew canvas would be a usable machine. I managed to get my 1160 running last year for oats combining, but it still needs a lot of work to be in good shape.

We are considering trying to fix up a PTO CASE L (I think) with a gravity round bin. Will get some pictures when I am off duty in daylight hours. How does one fix places with rot out and how about those wooden shaker trays? how about replacing a draper?
