Got done with beans Saturday. 4690 and 2470 and 1170 worked flawlessly. 4690 was "new" here this year, it is a power house. Friend Greg Eastwood told me about bigger turbos being put on these engines, I got to checking and this tractor has the raised air cleaner and bigger turbo. Up hill at 6.9 mph with 30' field cultivator or disc and it doesn't seem to notice. Didn't need the tractor but was a good investment. A field I could go over in 4 hrs. with the 2470 takes 3 with the 4690.

Nice pair of horsepower Steve. My Dad had a 2670. It was a tight machine that just looked a little tired. It got traded in at Batie's in Webster for a 3394. Baties repainted the tractor including the wheels and made it look like a million bucks. I often wonder where it is today. Thanks for the pics.

Steve, glad she is working out for you! the 2670/4690 were great tractors here as well, to me a better unit than its little brother the 2470/4490, not that they were bad at all I just like the intercooled version and see less fuel burned compared to work done, nice pics

Nice set of 4 wheelers Steve, now the toughest decision you will be making is which one to jump into when work needs to be done. Rod.
