I need some help getting throttle to work properly. When i adjust the governor linkage according to the book (1/16th from the stop) the throttle does not change engine speed (wide open is the same as at idle) all the linkages work when opening the throttle lever, theres no binding in linkage, and the lever stays where ever I set it. If I adjust the idle screw on carb I can get the throttle to change rpms but now the governor surges. I 've readjusted the governor carb linkage one turn at a time both back and forward and still can get it right. The engine has recently been tuned and it runs very nicely when cold when it warms up the problem of surging begins. Having it set at high rpms it runs great but the throttle no longer controls engine speed
