snow was on the sides of road memorial day 1994 in the hill country of Wyoming././ did not seem possible to this southern hoosier ,.. my family enjoyed the sites on the way to Yellowstone .. your extreme temp and moderate rain makes it tuf for most crops for sure ...

Tom, after hearing Rapid City could receive over a foot of snow I figured your area would be blanketed with a little white also. Rod.

Good Morning Tom,

Glad to hear you got some moisture, regardless of the form it came in. I made the mistake of looking up the records from the local weather station last night. 1.89" since Jan. 1st. Ouch!

Not good Don, we had right at 1.50" as of last night at 8:00 pm for the last 24 hours, this will really help us hope you get some soon,, but without the white color

Tom!! We have hit 80 here for 3 days in a row. We are officially very dry also. Aren't your Small Spring Grains all planted? I don't think the snow will hurt them.

John, all grain has been planted since the first week in April, it will grow like crazy under the snow, this pic is from 2 weeks ago, I have not had time to take any current ones

Several years back my Son was stationed at Ellsworth A.F.B. at Rapid City. We went up for his birthday on the 10th of April. We got there on the 8th. When we came back from eating out it was snowing a bit. We woke up to 10" of snow on the ground and ended up with 14" all together. We were shoveling snow in our t shirts CRAZY weather. Not what we get in mid north Indiana......... Kenny
