Axle nut on 611b

I can help you with that if you could be just a little more specific ,as to which nut you are speaking of. Perhaps the diameter of the threaded shaft ,and the number of threads the shaft would have in one inch length. Chuck
 

It's not all that complicated.

You can adjust till all the end play is gone then pre load the bearings. I would probably go at least one slot past where the end play is all out and if the axle rolls freely maybe another.

As I have stated in previous posts, these are very large slow running shafts and bearing heating will not be a problem.
