Warm and dry conditions has let farmers in southern MN really go at planting. By the end of the week I am sure most around here will be finished with corn and beginning to planting soybeans. Rod.

Lookin Good!! We finally got .95 of rain Sat. eve. Spread fertilizer yesterday and work it in today and plant. Urea fertilizer went from $415 a ton when I planted wheat to $460 a ton now....ouch!

Rod,

Is that a little antenna-like metal sticking up in front to use as a guide for your marker furrow?

Ron

We don't have a lot of stones, but still enough to keep me busy for a couple days each spring picking the darn things.

Some guys are starting up in East Central Illinois, just depends on where the heaviest rain clouds were. Going to open some up with the disc today to dry out, maybe go Friday.
