My 1070 is starting to lose trans pressure when the rpms go above 1200. It stops moving and the steering gets hard when it moves. Do I have a pressure valve open or what could be my problem. Please Help

mite retitle your post and resubmite ,, POWER SHIFT PROBLEM 1070 , a lot of the gurus are getting real busy now and don't read every post ,. and yur problem willslip thru the crax and get lost ,,. there is a lot of valueable knowledge here that simply love to help ... and they certainly deserve my respect ..that said ,,. if this were my 1070 I would park it , til I got someone on it that KNOWS WHAT TO DO next or you got a clear plan of diagnosis you can follow..every minute running in that condition is probably making more expense ..and it mite just be asimple fix ,,

It sounds like you have a suction leak feeding the pump. In a shop the tech would run a pump flow test to check the pump and then a flow test to detcet promlems in the RPS tranny.
You probably don't have the necessary equipment to do that, so I would first take the pump off the rear of the tractor, and check the quad ring that seals the pump intake to the rear PTO housing. If that is good, I would then pull the rear housing and check the suction screen, in the base of the tranny. If it is plugged with fiborous material, I would be examining it to determin where it came from.
If you need to pull the rear housing check back here for some tips, that will save you some grief during the R&R process.
