All in the Family

Who would have ever imagined a couple decades ago two longtime American companies would be both owned by Fiat. Back then I thought they only made funny looking small cars. My Dodge looks ok sporting its cousins name. I hope ACG Loren finds a good use for the IH part that there was not room for on the window. Rod.

Hey Rod.
I ordered this decal from my friends at R Imp. last fall. It is 8"x 8". I'm going to take it to my friendly grafics guy, and we are going to eliminate the construction lettering and overlay it and the new style CASE font with the old CASE 100-30 series shadowed font like he did with the grafics for my 440.
Maybe I should have him crumple up that leftover from your decal, and place it into Abes claw. Whats ya think???
Sorry the image isn't real clear, but the decal hasn't been applied to anything yet and the opaque transfer paper is still on it.
Loren

Come on guys get a grip its been over 30 years can't we just get along.

David,

Most of us old Case guys are tired of being treated like orphaned step-children by Case Corp or whatever its now called. We are just trying to keep the Case heritage alive. CNH/Fiat certainly won't. After 30 plus years most original IH dealers still bristle at being labeled Case and most original Case dealers still feel ignored. I've interviewed many of them. Don

Well Dave,
As a Case dealer, franchised in 1932, we made the "CUT" after the merger, BUT, many of our older Case reps within the company structure didn't. Back when we were Case Co. we were a family, and knew our corprate leaders personally. After the merger we became a number with no idenity. A lot of the IH people who were introduced into the Case family were arogant and determined to redeam the IH name without reguard to any Case dealers reputation.
After we closed our Case dealership in the fall of 1986, my wife and I went to work for a neighboring IH dealership, but we both chose to leave two years later, because of their lack of consern for their customers. We were fortunate that we had a good friend also a former Case dealer who had the assets to franchise with Case-IH off to east of us and we went there when he built a totally new facility to their specs. visit (Randall Imp.com). They are still there, and only a single outlet dealer, not conforming to corperate multi outlet protocal, but CNH is not the major player there anymore, and with the new era of Kubota they are at the point where they can kiss CNH goodby.
Hope you now understand why we Case people are so close and have little use for IH company bread people.
Loren.

Nice to see Old Abe resurrected, shame so few know of his former life. Like to find someone close to me I could trust to make a new set of old decals, I have an original set of Case V Series tractor decals with the proper colors, including the original tube they came in.
