I found a peice of a lifter in the bottom of the oilpan. Has anyone seen this before or think of why it may has happened. Looks like it has been
that way a long time. I have one valve that is unuseable never saw one pitted this bad, looks like at one time most ofthe valves were replaced.
The clutch rod it missing, from the pictures i have looked at it looks like it is just a rod with a 90 on each end, an someone tell me how long it
should be center to center hole? The serial number on the tag is unreadable and i can not find a number on the block but it does have the flat
belt water pump.

Did you look for the serial number just below the spark plugs on the top rear of the block? It may be on a machined pad
I can get the clutch rod measurement this evening for you. Nick

The measurement is 28 and 1/4" center to center and its 5/8" round stock. And if You look on the flange where the bell housing and engine bolt together there should be numbers stamped in the casting if they aren't worn off. I don't remember which side now because mine have worn off with age. And I do have a few clutch rods laying around here if You decide not to make one. It sounds like Your tractor is most likely a 1929 model with the flat belt.

I know where it should be. I went and looked at the D and the Sc but can't find it on the rusty C. What other parts do you have laying around, and where are you located.

I have a couple rear ends for a C and one for a CC and a shed full of odds and ends along with a couple of good engines But I am hanging on to those for now. A lot of My parts have been here around eighty years so I have duplicates of a few things. Send Me an email with the parts You are looking for and I will see what I can come up with. I live by Oklee MN.

You can also call Me at 218-796-4784. I am around home off and on all day so if You miss Me You can also leave a message with what you are looking for and I will call You with what I have.
