48/49 Case VAC

I bought 2 and gave them to my DD and SIL. They split, him taking the better one with 3pt. Hers dosnt have a pulley. I cant see where the shifter lever is for the pto.
Where is it?

farmallb,, you probably are missing some parts ... you should have a shifter at 2 o clock from the pto . looking at the rear ,,.most are a ft long 1 inch flat steelabout 3/16thick ,.. engaged by clutching and raising the end in a circular motion .., there is no decided over center feel , but it does cam over center and lock ...the belt pulley can also be disengaged by loosening a set screw and pulling to the brake pedal side of tractor some half inch

Pic is a later VAC, the 48/49 linkage may be different but will be in the same location.

Actually that pic is a 300 but VAC is nearly identical.

I don't have that pull rod OR the flat stock piece that goes from the rod to the engageing rod

01 THEN, is the pulley like on an AC WC/WD where you have to back of a set screw, pull or push the pulley in or out to disengage or engage and then reset the set screw?>
